ONE TOUGH TB
“From the very beginning of the Type A card concept it was clear that we needed to expand on the limitations of existing technology. The standard 512 GB was not going to be enough for the type of work our customers create. We absolutely needed a 1 TB card option.”

CFEXPRESS TYPE A VS SD CARD
The AV PRO CFexpress Type A card with Max. Write Speed up to 730 MB/s offers a superior speed and performance advantage vs. a SD card. The impressive speed presents a clear advantage over SD card formats for buffer-free high-data rate production with both high-resolution video and burst photography in 4K+ RAW.
While several Sony cameras feature a unique dual card set-up that is compatible with both CFexpress Type A and UHS-II SD cards, someone who shoots in 4K resolution with intra-frame compressions would require a CFexpress Type A card to take full advantage of Sony’s “Slow and Quick” modes for optimized playback and impressive 1200 Mbps recording available in some settings.
TYPE A IN EVERY WAY
Stable Stream™ Sustained Speed Performance technology supports consistent and continuous read/write speeds throughout the entire capacity of the card. Additionally, the AV PRO CFexpress Type A reduces the amount of power needed to drive the signals—resulting in a high-performance media card with a minimal power drain to the host camera.
Angelbird CFexpress Type A media cards are built tough enough to withstand operation in extreme production environments with temperatures ranging from -10° C to 70° C and feature a Sticker Free™ card surface. Additional rock-solid benefits include a 3-year limited warranty on hard- and software levels and free in-house data recovery service.
