FlorMartz is proud to attend the NAB every year and this year, celebrating its hundredth anniversary, the NAB opened its doors for its exhibitions from April 16 to 19. Taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the West, North and Central wings with more than 1,000 exhibitors.

    Blackmagic Design which was located at the entrance of the North wing. With a large extension of size, they took advantage of every inch of the booth to demonstrate their large number of equipment, both on display and being used at that very moment for the delight and information of visitors.

    Within the Blackmagic space there was a section dedicated to talks by experts who are certified and use the Davinci Resolve Studio software, taking a course on its operation in its different modules such as Special Effects (Fusion), Audio (Fairlight), Color editing and video editing.

    There was also a section in the northern part of the booth in which the power and capacity of the Ultimatte 12 equipment was being demonstrated live to us, being a small stage with a green background in which 2 girls were being recorded by cameras. Studio and a URSA connected directly to the different Ultimatte models that Blackmagic manages and finally these giving an output to a screen in which you can see the difference between what is being recorded and the stage and layout that is being inserted through the ultimate teams.

    On the perimeter of the booth, it was possible to appreciate each of the equipment that Blackmagic manages, assembled for its appreciation, such as Teranex equipment, smartview, Webpresenter, hyperdeck, mini and micro converter equipment, as well as Decklink equipment.

    In the corner of the booth there was an extra stage in which there was a stage of a park in which you can witness a meeting of friends and a kiosk, which Blackmagic took advantage of so that visitors could use their camera of choice from the Blackmagic range to see the differences of each of the equipment and test each of the cameras firsthand.

    And finally, in the middle of the booth there were different islets in which you could see different equipment such as the Cintel, the Atem Televisión Studio 4K8, a 5-bay Fairlight equipment, the Atem Advanced Panel, the Blackmagic Cloud Store and several Davinci islands in which they showed us the different modules of Davinci Resolve.

    The Quantum brand gave us a tour of their booth and their equipment showing us the storage capacity of their cloud-based equipment for backup of the videos and productions that one has with the certainty that this equipment will not fail.

    At the Maxon booth and like every year, Maxon was characterized by having on one side teams with its different products such as Zbrush, Cinema 4D and the RedGigant plugin library, together with specialized technicians to demonstrate the capacity of its software and eliminate doubts that will not get to have the programs. And on the other side of his booth, a space dedicated to presentations with experts in their field who use Maxon products doing MasterClass for those who would like to listen.

    At PTZ Optics, who demonstrated their PTZ cameras and their controller so that whoever came to visit them could see first-hand the different products they use and the quality they have.

    AIDA in their booth showed us all their equipment that they have, having both on display and putting them on a small stage in the central part of their booth so that one could review the image capture quality that the cameras have and thus be able to demonstrate to the public to come to the booth about the capabilities of their cameras and what they can do with themselves.

    Canare was characterized by demonstrating the cables they handle and what one can do with each of them.
    We met with the people from Angelbird who explained to us the new card that they have just launched, the Angelbird AV PRO CFEXPRESS TYPE A which was designed to be used with Sony equipment giving a read speed of 820MB/S and a write speed of 820MB/S. of 730MB/S

    Kiloview showed us their equipment such as Video Converters, their Video Encoders and Decoders, their LinkDeck controller, among others.

    The people from Eartec showed us all the equipment they had and gave us a detailed explanation of what each one of them does, giving us the possibility of using the equipment.

    OZEN is characterized by having very good quality tripods for the different types of needs that one would have, and its stand was no exception since its tripods were ready to be immediately put into use, a selection of Tripods that they had right there.

    Sharing the booth was Hive demonstrating his lighting equipment, such as the Bumble Bulb, which is a spotlight that can be programmed what color light we want it to emit.

    In the Hollyland booth, they had each of the products they handle on display, each of the visitors being able to see through their own experience the quality and durability of this equipment.

    Zeplay gave us an explanation about his instant replay system with which one will be able to have his dedicated team for the matches or events that one has.

    Telestream showed us the benefits of using their Wirecast program and the increased functionality when used in conjunction with their Wirecast Gear, to be able to stream high quality at the level of your productions.

    Western Digital had a selection of their gear on them, both Sandisk cards, solid state drives and G-Raid gear for whatever storage solution you have.

    Indipro surprised us at its booth with its different equipment and its wide variety of batteries for any solution we have in terms of camera batteries such as the reliable Micro-Series 98Wh V-Mount Li-Ion Battery, as a V-Mount adapter to be able to connect the camera directly with its power source to the light, its different battery chargers and its bidirectional adapter from D-Tap to USB-A with which one will be able to use the Indipro batteries to charge our laptop or cell phone and also being able to use that adapter to charge the battery directly to the current.

    Softron showed us its software with which we can automate the multimedia content we have, as well as record and stream the program we are working on.

    BirdDog people as always demonstrating the capacity of their cameras and with the confidence that their teams have the quality to support them. Among their equipment they presented us with the new addition to the family, the PTZ X120 camera which, in addition to having NDI, HDMI and SDI outputs, can transmit via Wi-Fi, being the jewel of its presentation.

    Marshall gave us a tour of their booth with the different cameras they handle and demonstrating the quality of image capture and the freedom to let visitors test the capabilities and limits of their cameras in order to convince themselves that Marshall Electronics is quality.

    Atomos chose to let their monitors speak for themselves, demonstrating the confidence and color fidelity of their equipment and demonstrating that with a good monitor, even the smallest detail cannot escape us.

    Skaarhoj has always stood out for his passion to make universal controllers which can help us in the day to day of our transmissions and with that commitment in hand they showed us their controllers with the promise that if the controller could not do the function to control your camera, they will be notified and shortly they will release the update with which it can be controlled.

    Mo-sys being a system for virtual production, I take the opportunity to amaze us with its booth in which we could be part of a scene in which we would find the treasure that we long for so much and with this demonstrate the capacity of its system and a sample of what We could do.

    At Teradek we are amazed by the quality and variety of products that they have to be able to make a point-to-point wireless transmission for when we need to make a mobile transmission, or we have to record and we do not want to have the limitations of carrying cables around.

    Axeltech, being a brand that specializes in Radio and Television systems with just 3 modules with their equipment and an explanation that is both simple to learn and know what each piece of equipment they use is for.

    The Kondorblue booth was full of both their cages and adapters as well as customers curious to learn more about their products and the solutions they have in cages for cameras such as the URSA mini, the Pocket Cinema Camera line and more. Thus, being able to protect our equipment and be able to use all the accessories so that our recording is a resounding success.

    Aximmetry and they showed us how easy we can build a virtual set simply with a green background and the implementation of their software, being able to make high-quality virtual sets.

    By visiting SKB, they showed us the large number of cases they handle for different types of equipment along with their hardness and ease of transportation that characterize them, being an ideal solution for the protection of our equipment.

    Fortinge, who had their different solutions for teleprompters on display, such as conventional ones with a monitor to never stop looking at the camera, stand teleprompters and even ones to be used in conjunction with the cell phone and never lose sight of what one has to say in all time.
